No. There is no daily loss limit in the Evaluation or in SIM Funded. The Max Loss Limit is the only loss rule.
What this means for you
You can lose as much as you want in a single day, as long as your equity does not touch the floor.
There is no separate daily limit that resets at the start of a trading day.
The only line you must not cross is your floor: your highest point minus the Max Loss Limit.
Size | Max Loss Limit | Starting floor |
$25K | $1,000 | $24,000 |
$50K | $2,000 | $48,000 |
$100K | $3,000 | $97,000 |
$150K | $4,500 | $145,500 |
Example on a $50K account
Your floor is $48,000 and your equity is $50,000.
You lose $1,500 in one day. Your equity is $48,500.
đ Nothing happens, because your equity is still above the floor. You can keep trading.
â ď¸ If your equity touches $48,000, the account is breached.
Remember that the floor can move up as you make new highs, so the same losses can bring you closer to the floor later. Read Max Loss Limit explained.
Rule Summary

Only loss rule: Max Loss Limit
Applies to: Evaluation and SIM Funded, both plans
Frequently asked questions
Do my losses reset each day?
There is no daily limit, so there is nothing to reset. The floor depends on your highest point.
â
Does the Max Loss Limit work like a daily limit?
No. It measures how far your equity is from your highest point, not how much you lost today.
â
Is the rule different on BrightPlus and BrightCore?
No. Neither plan has a daily loss limit. They only differ in how the floor moves.
