BrightPlus has four account sizes: $25K, $50K, $100K and $150K. This page has every BrightPlus number in one place.
Main numbers by size
Size | Price (one-time) | Profit target (6%) | Max Loss Limit | Starting floor | Max contracts |
$25K | $120 | $1,500 | $1,000 | $24,000 | 2 minis or 20 micros |
$50K | $165 | $3,000 | $2,000 | $48,000 | 4 minis or 40 micros |
$100K | $280 | $6,000 | $3,000 | $97,000 | 8 minis or 80 micros |
$150K | $380 | $9,000 | $4,500 | $145,500 | 12 minis or 120 micros |
How to read it: the starting floor is your starting balance minus the Max Loss Limit. On a $50K account, $50,000 − $2,000 = $48,000. Micros are always 10 times the minis, and 1 mini equals 10 micros. The contract limit is combined, so on a $50K account the limit is 4 minis or 40 micros, counted together.
Payout numbers by size
Size | Payout cap | Cap with 2x Payout Cap addon | Minimum request | Profit split |
$25K | $1,000 | $2,000 | $250 | 80% (100% with addon) |
$50K | $2,000 | $4,000 | $250 | 80% (100% with addon) |
$100K | $3,000 | $6,000 | $250 | 80% (100% with addon) |
$150K | $4,000 | $8,000 | $250 | 80% (100% with addon) |
How much can I request? The maximum you can request is the lowest of your balance minus the buffer and the payout cap (doubled with the 2x Payout Cap addon). There is no limit based on a percentage of your profit.
Example: $50K account, balance $55,000. The buffer is $52,100, so $2,900 is available. The cap is $2,000, so you can request up to $2,000. With the 2x Payout Cap addon the cap is $4,000, so you could request the full $2,900.
Buffer numbers
Size | Buffer (withdrawal floor) | Locked floor | Balance for a full-cap request | Balance for a full-cap request with 2x Payout Cap addon |
$25K | $26,100 | $25,100 | $27,100 | $28,100 |
$50K | $52,100 | $50,100 | $54,100 | $56,100 |
$100K | $103,100 | $100,100 | $106,100 | $109,100 |
$150K | $154,600 | $150,100 | $158,600 | $162,600 |
Buffer = starting balance + Max Loss Limit + $100. The balance for a full-cap request is the buffer plus the standard payout cap, or the buffer plus the doubled cap with the 2x Payout Cap addon.
Fresh profit between payouts
Size | Fresh profit needed after each payout (1%) |
$25K | $250 |
$50K | $500 |
$100K | $1,000 |
$150K | $1,500 |
After each approved payout, you need fresh profit of at least 1% of the starting balance before the next request. It reads your balance (closed trades), and your balance must be at least your balance after the last approved payout + this amount. The first payout only needs a balance above the buffer.
Consistency Rule: the largest best day that still passes
This applies in the Evaluation only. On BrightPlus, your best trading day can be at most 50% of your total net profit. If you stop exactly at the profit target, this is the biggest single trading day you can have and still pass.
Size | Profit target | Largest best day (50%) |
$25K | $1,500 | $750 |
$50K | $3,000 | $1,500 |
$100K | $6,000 | $3,000 |
$150K | $9,000 | $4,500 |
Example: on a BrightPlus $50K account, if you finish with exactly $3,000 of profit, your best day can be at most $1,500 (50%). If you make more profit than the target, the allowed best day grows with it. There is no Consistency Rule in SIM Funded.
