How does the Evaluation work?

The one-phase Evaluation explained: what you need to pass, what is not a rule, and what happens when you reach the target.

The Evaluation is the first stage of BrightFunded Futures. It has one phase, no time limit and no minimum number of trading days. You pass when you reach the profit target while following the rules, and then you move on to a SIM Funded Account.

What you need to pass

All four of these must be true:

1. Reach the profit target

The target is 6% of the account: $1,500 on $25K, $3,000 on $50K, $6,000 on $100K and $9,000 on $150K.

2. Meet the Consistency Rule

Your best trading day must be at most 50% (BrightPlus) or 40% (BrightCore) of your total net profit. Read Consistency Rule.

3. Meet the Minimum Trade Duration

More than 50% of your winning profit must come from trades held longer than 15 seconds. Read Minimum Trade Duration.

4. Never touch the floor

If your equity touches the Max Loss Limit floor at any moment, the account is breached. Read Max Loss Limit explained.

Reached the target but not passed yet?

👉 Your account does not fail. If you reached the target but the Consistency Rule or the Minimum Trade Duration is not met yet, the account stays open and keeps trading until it is compliant. The dashboard shows a status such as "Pending, Trade Duration Not Met". Read Why can't I pass yet? Pending statuses.
