How do resets work and how much do they cost?

The reset time, the 45% reset price for every plan and size, and what happens to your account.

After a breach you can reset the same account or buy a new account. You have a limited time to reset the account at a discount. Check the time left directly on your dashboard. The reset price is 45% off the full list price of that account (plan + size + all its addons), using today's prices. Your account goes back to a fresh Challenge on the same account number.

How a reset works

  • Reset time: you have a limited time after the breach. Check the time left directly on your dashboard. You can reset as many times as you want while the reset time is available. Each new breach gives you a new reset time.

  • Price: 45% off the full list price of the account, not based on what you paid.

  • Addons: a reset keeps all the addons from your original purchase. You cannot add or remove addons.

  • Account: the same account number, back to a fresh Challenge. Balance and metrics start from zero.

  • Which accounts: a reset is available for a breached account, whichever stage it was in. You always receive a Challenge.

  • Payment: resets are paid with money.

At checkout you see: "Your reset keeps all the addons from your original purchase. They are already included in this price."

Examples with addons

  • BrightCore $50K with 100% Profit Split: list price $190 + 20% = $228. Reset price = $228 − 45% = $125.40.

  • BrightPlus $50K with no addons: $165 − 45% = $90.75.

To work out your own price: take the list price of your plan and size, add the percentage of each addon you bought, then take 45% off. The checkout always shows the final price.

After a hard breach

  • After a hard breach (for example a second hedge, copying other traders or group trading, inactivity or a Max Loss Limit breach) you can reset the same account or buy a new account.

  • When the reset time ends, the Reset button disappears. You buy a new challenge at the normal price. Read My reset time expired.
