KYC (identity verification) is done with Sumsub and is required before your SIM Funded Account is released. You can trade and pass the Evaluation first. KYC is the step between passing and getting your SIM Funded Account.

You reach the profit target and meet the Consistency Rule and the Minimum Trade Duration.

Your identity verification with Sumsub must be approved. If it is not approved, the account stays on hold.

The contract is sent in the flow after KYC. Read Contract signing.

Step 4: Your SIM Funded Account activates

It activates on the same account number, with the balance back at the starting balance.

⚠️ Use one profile only. If you already have a BrightFunded profile, use that one. Creating a second profile for the same person leads to rejected duplicates.

Do I need KYC before I start trading?

No. KYC is required before your SIM Funded Account is released, after you pass the Evaluation.

What happens if my KYC is not approved?

Your account stays on hold until it is approved. It does not fail.
